Research Scientist – Antibody Biophysical Characterisation (m/w/d), 3 Years limited

Your mission
As a Research Scientist, you are integral to our R&D team, driving innovation and technological advancements. This position is part of an exciting research project focused on the biophysical characterisation of antibodies, contributing directly to our scientific and technological goals in this area.

The initial contract is limited to three years – with excellent prospects for extension, depending on the project's success and continued funding.
 

  • Design, plan, and execute experiments focused on the biophysical characterisation of antibodies and related protein research.
  • Develop, test, and optimize new methods, materials, and technologies to support product innovation and development.
  • Analyze complex datasets and interpret results to guide experimental direction and product decisions.
  • Contribute to the development, scale-up, and implementation of novel technologies and processes.
  • Contribute to the management and running of the Research Laboratory
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and protocols in compliance with NTT standards.
  • Communicate research findings and project updates to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
  • Stay updated on scientific and technological advancements in relevant fields.

Your expertise
  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biotechnology, or a related field; or master’s degree with proven experience in industrial R&D.
  • Demonstrated experience in biomanufacturing and/or bioprocessing.
  • Proven expertise in protein biophysical characterisation techniques.
  • Proficient in statistical data analysis and computational tools for protein characterization.
  • Experience with protein glycosylation analysis is an advantage.
  • Keen interest in analytical technology development.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with digital lab documentation systems, especially electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
